The Office for Ordained Vocations works closely with the bishops and the Commission on Ministry in the recruitment, discernment and formation of postulants and candidates for ordained leadership as deacons and priests in the Episcopal Church.  For information contact the Rev. For those interested in ordination, discernment information is attached below.  All inquirers must attend Ministry Discernment Conference in the year in which they plan to apply to the process (see page 13 of the handbook, attached below).  The conference is offered once a year, on the first Saturday in February.

The 2015 Ministry Discernment Conference will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7. Registration will open in December 2014.   Anyone interested in learning more about the ordination process in the Diocese of Massachusetts is welcome to register for the Ministry Discernment Conference.  For inquirers planning to apply for ordination, their sponsoring priests and discernment committee chairs must also attend the Ministry Discernment Conference.
