Among the Brockton Enterprise's "Three Good Things that Happened Locally" feature is St. Andrew's Church in Hanover and the annual day out it hosts for women from Rosie's Place shelter in Boston. There’s some time at Humarock Beach in Scituate, lunch at the church and an invitation to browse racks of donated clothing and tables of shoes and handbags. It is the only such excursion that Rosie’s Place takes part in and a spokeswoman for the shelter said St. Andrew’s is “among our most enduring connections.”
