All are welcome to a bluegrass mass at St. Anne's in Lowell. Music for the service, a mix of gospel and contemporary with a bluegrass twist, will be accompanied by musicians from Westford, Massachusetts and Mason, New Hampshire on guitar, upright bass, mandolin, banjo and dobro. You'll want to stay after the service to hear more fast-paced pickin' and singin'.

St. Bartholomew's Church in Cambridge is beginning its yearlong centennial celebration, Ministry and Service to the Cambridge Community and Beyond 1908-2008, and is inviting the public to join in. The celebration kicks off with a service and quilt unveiling. The quilt, made by church members, represents the first 100 years of the church. After the service, attendees can view a historical exhibit of the church's first 25 years.
