Hear the music, feel the spirit! St. Bartholomew's Church in Cambridge presents a benefit gospel concert to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Mr. Luebke manages all aspects of horticulture and grounds maintenance for the 57-acre property. “Promoting Peaceful Centers and Compassion in Children and Youth” is a workshop designed for those who interact with and care for youth. Teachers, parents and researchers will come together to explore meditation and compassion as tools to build resilience in youth. Presenters will include doctors, psychologists, and youth workers who are experienced with mindful and meditative practices. Attendees will review the latest research on meditation and learn several meditative techniques that can be taught to youth, including teaching compassion and connection building. | ||
