During winter break, 29 students from Greater Boston travelled to Israel and Palestine with the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. Students from Northeastern University will share what they saw, heard and experienced during their twelve-day journey as they followed in the footsteps of Jesus and talked with Israelis and Palestinians to better understand the conflict between them.

John Bell John Bell, a songwriter and song collector, minister in the Church of Scotland, fellow of the Royal School of Church Music and member of the Iona Community will lead a workshop for choir directors, clergy and other music leaders on the importance of congregational singing and the place of song and music in the church.

This event will take place at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church on the grounds of Boston College.

MagnificatBoston is a group of singers "from parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and beyond" who are dedicated to the performance of Anglican choral Evensong. In monastic tradition, Evensong are the prayers said before retiring for the night.

The 25-member group performs once each month at a parish or chapel in the diocese, singing both English period and new American liturgical music.
