  • 10:30 a.m. - Solemn High Eucharist
  • 6-7 p.m. - Reception
  • 8 p.m. - Choral evensong and dedication of the Angelus Bell in memory of Everett Titcomb, St. John's organist from 1910 to 1960

Dr. Paul FarmerCourtesy Partners in Health Dr. Paul Farmer Dr. Paul Farmer will speak at 9 a.m. at All Saints Parish (1773 Beacon Street) in Brookline as a prelude to receiving All Saints' 11th annual Spirituality and Justice Award during the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist. Dr. Farmer will also be the preacher during the service, which will be followed by a reception.

Courtesy All Saints' Church, West Newbury On Rogation Sunday, it is tradition to celebrate the earth and its abundance with blessings and a procession.

Farmers, gardners and all who love the earth are invited to join the parishioners of All Saints' Church in West Newbury for a special procession and blessings. All are encouraged to bring seeds, tools, work gloves and tractors to be blessed.

The Church of the Holy Name, Swampscott is celebrating the restoration of their 1922 Skinner organ on Sunday, April 27 with a dedication at the 10 a.m. service and a concert at 4 p.m. by Dr. Douglas Major. A reception will follow the concert.

Run by St. Paul's Church and a variety of other faith and community organizations in and around Brockton, St Paul's Table will host a conversation for guests and friends about maintaining a spiritual life while living on the streets on Monday, April 28 at 11 a.m.

Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans presents "Let's Take a Walk - Walking with Jesus," a retreat day led by the Rev. Margare Guenther. Guenther, a nationally known author and spiritual director, is the associate rector at St. Columba's Church in Washington, D.C.

Chatham author Anne LeClaire will lead a quiet-day workshop on “Spiritual Silence to Our Secular Life: Making the Connection” on Saturday, May 3, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Church in Chatham. The workshop will
include thoughts on the need for silence in our daily lives, ways to
find silence, and different types of silence. Ms. LeClaire will also
lead the group through exercises on silence.

Discussion will follow the workshop during a brown bag luncheon, followed by Holy Eucharist. Light refreshments will be served.
