Whether you are are clergy or lay person, paid or volunteer, priest or Sunday school teacher, if you feel your work in the church centers around education then this retreat is for you. You are invited to join with others who work in education in the parishes of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts for a day of refreshment and sharing at Bertram Conference Center.
The chapel choir of Thomas's Preparatory School in Kensington in the U.K., under the direction of Richard Le Boutillier and accompanied on the organ by Justin Luke, is touring Boston. They will present a program of works by Victoria, Elgar, Howells and Dyson at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul on Wednesday, May 28. All are welcome to the free concert.

MagnificatBoston is a group of singers "from parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and beyond" who are dedicated to the performance of Anglican choral Evensong. In monastic tradition, Evensong are the prayers said before retiring for the night.
The 25-member group performs once each month at a parish or chapel in the diocese, singing both English period and new American liturgical music.
All are welcome to a celebration of the volunteers, partners, stories and spirit that are part of the Cathedral's Monday Lunch Program on Monday, June 2 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in Sproat Hall of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul.

One Tuesday a month, the Sisters of St. Anne-Bethany welcome you to the Bethany House of Prayer for a Refreshment Day. Rediscover the gift of a few hours of quiet reflection. The day begins with an opening meditation from area leaders and colleagues, followed by individual quiet time, shared reflections, worship and midday meal.
June 3: The leaders will be Kimberly Green and Mary Meader, colleagues in ministry from the Bethany House of Prayer.
Registration is required; the suggested fee of $30 includes the midday dinner.
Clergy from the diocese are invited to "Healing God's Planet in Peril - A Gathering of Christian Leaders for Inspiration, Prayer, Briefings and Strategy," a workshop at Andover Newton Theological Seminary in Newton.

It's the third annual Cape June Jubilee! What could be a more fun way to raise money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa than walking, biking or rollerblading along the Cape Cod Canal, followed by fellowship and a barbecue lunch? And if you don't feel energetic enough to walk, bike or rollerblade, sponsoring someone who is is an excellent way to contribute to the effort!
The Episcopal City Mission (ECM) will hold it's annual meeting at Boston University's Sherman Union on June 10. The keynote speaker will be the Rt. Rev. Barbara C. Harris, retired bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Massachusetts.
Bishop Bud and Ruth Ann Cederholm and the Sisters of St. Anne-Bethany invite clergy families with young children to unwind and welcome summer at a picnic in the garden of the Order of St. Anne-Bethany in Arlington. Food and beverages will be provided, as will activities for children up to age 10: circle time, singing, stories and garden and art activities.
