Celebrate with us on Saturday, June 7, as the most recent group of candidates to the diaconate are ordained. The Rt. Rev. M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE, diocesan bishop, will be preaching and presiding.

It's the third annual Cape June Jubilee! What could be a more fun way to raise money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa than walking, biking or rollerblading along the Cape Cod Canal, followed by fellowship and a barbecue lunch? And if you don't feel energetic enough to walk, bike or rollerblade, sponsoring someone who is is an excellent way to contribute to the effort!
The Episcopal City Mission (ECM) will hold it's annual meeting at Boston University's Sherman Union on June 10. The keynote speaker will be the Rt. Rev. Barbara C. Harris, retired bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Massachusetts.
Bishop Bud and Ruth Ann Cederholm and the Sisters of St. Anne-Bethany invite clergy families with young children to unwind and welcome summer at a picnic in the garden of the Order of St. Anne-Bethany in Arlington. Food and beverages will be provided, as will activities for children up to age 10: circle time, singing, stories and garden and art activities.

Join the Episcopal Diocese in celebrating Pride Weekend on Saturday, June 14, with a party on the cathedral porch at 2 p.m., followed by prayers, songs and blessings specifically for LGBT people, their relationships and their families at 2:30 p.m. Bishop M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE will be performing the blessings.
Join Bishop Barbara C. Harris for a tribute concert on Friday, June 20, 7:30 p.m., at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul in Boston, featuring cathedral musician Ed Broms and an exceptional group of area jazz musicians performing music from John Coltrane’s landmark "Giant Steps" album.
