Image: Sisters of St. MargaretThe theme for this silent retreat, hosted by the Sisters of St. Margaret, is “A Palace in Time: an exploration of the meaning of Sabbath.” The retreat runs from Friday to Sunday, June 6-8. Arrive at the Bertram Conference Center in South Duxbury any time between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Cape June Jubilee - fighting AIDS in Africa with fun

It's the third annual Cape June Jubilee! What could be a more fun way to raise money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa than walking, biking or rollerblading along the Cape Cod Canal, followed by fellowship and a barbecue lunch? And if you don't feel energetic enough to walk, bike or rollerblade, sponsoring someone who is is an excellent way to contribute to the effort!

Episcopal City Mission annual meeting

Bethany House of Prayer picnic for clergy families with young children

Bishop Bud and Ruth Ann Cederholm and the Sisters of St. Anne-Bethany invite clergy families with young children to unwind and welcome summer at a picnic in the garden of the Order of St. Anne-Bethany in Arlington. Food and beverages will be provided, as will activities for children up to age 10: circle time, singing, stories and garden and art activities.

Pride Blessing

Join the Episcopal Diocese in celebrating Pride Weekend on Saturday, June 14, with a party on the cathedral porch at 2 p.m., followed by prayers, songs and blessings specifically for LGBT people, their relationships and their families at 2:30 p.m. Bishop M. Thomas Shaw, SSJE will be performing the blessings.

Coltrane concert honoring Barbara Harris kicks off anniversary weekend
