To follow in the way of Jesus of Nazareth is to live in the direction of a dream that is bigger than the nightmares of human devisings. To follow Jesus is to engage the present moment and reality from the perspective of God's dream for us, for the human family, and for all creation.  That dream has been disclosed in the life and teachings of Jesus.  Together participants will consider what this dream looks like in their lives and how to live in the direction of this dream, and bear witness to it.

The leader, Bishop Michael Curry, was consecrated as bishop of North Carolina in 2000. He received the Master of Divinity degree in 1978 from Yale Divinity School. He has a national preaching and teaching ministry, having been featured on The Protestant Hour and is a frequent speaker at conferences around the country. He has received honorary degrees from Sewanee and Yale.
