Ever wonder how those feckless followers of Jesus became the fearless founders of Christianity? Anglican theologian H.A. Williams claimed resurrection and the Kingdom of Heaven did not await us only after death, they are ours to experience here and now. Through brief meditations on the writings of Williams, periods of reflective silence and shared conversation participants will be encouraged to examine their own experience for such transformative moments. The day’s leader, Brother Eldridge Pendleton, SSJE, is an Episcopal priest and a longtime member of the Society of St. John the Evangelist, an Anglican religious order in Cambridge, MA. There he teaches, preaches, leads retreats and is a spiritual director.
