The theme of this year’s meeting is "Our Ethnic Congregations Share Their Stories."
The meeting includes panel presentations:
• Immigrant experiences in the Episcopal Church: The story of African, Chinese and Latino faith communities in the Episcopal Church and in our diocese
• The history of the First Scandinavian Religious Institution in New England, 1867-2017
• Our Youngest Congregations Look to the Future: How congregations that
serve newcomers to the country are similar to/different from those that serve the second, third and fourth generations.
Also on the agenda is the history of Brockton and its ethnic communities, and a tour of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and Grace Chapel. A brief business meeting will be conducted during lunch.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
