All are welcome for a special musical celebration to enlighten the soul and enliven the spirit in anticipation of Ascension Day. This free concert will feature instrumental and choral music of the great English composer Ralph Vaughan Williams. Selections include: The Lark Ascending, Movement No. 2 from Tuba Concerto, and Five Mystical Songs, among others. Violin, tuba and baritone soloists will be accompanied by a guest string quartet and the St. Paul's Parish Choir. Musical direction by Dr. Michael Monroe, Minister of Music at St. Paul's.
