Looking deeply into sources of hope can sustain efforts to renew the web of life and to create a more just society.  This retreat will explore a framework for becoming healers filled with compassion, energy and hope.  The retreat will include presentations, guided meditation, silence and conversation.

The retreat leader will be the Rev. Margaret Bullitt-Jonas, Ph.D., who serves as missioner for creation care in the Diocese of Western Massachusetts and the Massachusetts Conference, United Church of Christ.  The Rev. Fred Small, the minister for climate justice at Arlington Street Church in Boston, will lead singing.

The retreat is free and open to people of all faiths and none, and will focus on direct experience, not doctrine.  Everyone is welcome, especially young adults and college-age students.

Co-sponsored by the Episcopal dioceses of Massachusetts and Western Massachusetts; the Massachusetts Conference, United Church of Christ; Massachusetts Interfaith Power & Light; and Massachusetts Interfaith Coalition for Climate Action.
