A Saturday workshop led by Brother David Vryhof, SSJE.
How do we discern the purposes of God in a group setting? How can vestries, mission teams, discernment committees, parishes and families learn to listen together for God’s voice? How can they conduct their meetings and discuss their questions and concerns in a prayerful atmosphere, attentive to the leading of the Spirit? This workshop will explore the fundamental principles of group discernment, and offer practical guidelines and examples to groups in discernment.
Saturday workshops at the monastery begin at 9 a.m. and run until 12:15 p.m. All participants are invited to stay and join the brothers at Noonday Prayer at 12:30 p.m.
