Trustees of DonationsThe Diocesan Investment Trust (DIT) is an affiliated organization of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts. It was first established in 1810 to manage funds left in trust for specific purposes. The DIT was later made available to parishes and other organizations within the Diocese for investing their own funds. These funds are controlled by the parishes or the investing organization.
The Trustees of Donations, a 25-member board, oversees the DIT and all diocesan controlled funds. Currently, 158 parishes and organizations participate in the DIT, holding nearly 800 separate accounts, totaling $180 million.
