Make music with a vibrant, singing congregation at Provincetown’s historic seaside church where the land, the sea, and the sacred meet. 

St. Mary of the Harbor is looking for an energetic organist + choir director to work collaboratively with the Rector to create a dynamic music program that includes chant, Taize, and seasonal sung liturgies. A love of people is essential and an appreciation for Anglican liturgical tradition is highly desired.  Prior experience in the Episcopal Church would be helpful but more important is the ability to interpret music in a way that appropriately sets the tone for Sunday worship.

Candidates will work with a dedicated adult choir in voice development and performance.  Competency in pipe organ and piano expected.  Position is for Sundays and Holy Week, plus any weddings or funerals for which the organist is paid extra.
