Young Adult Intern Programs

“Life Together:  The Diocese of Massachusetts Intern Program” is a strategic ministry of our diocese comprising two 11-month internship programs.

The Micah Project has 12 young adult interns (18-35 years old) who live together in Christian community.  The interns discern their vocational calls while serving in social justice-related projects based in churches or secular agencies.

The Relational Evangelism Pilot Project has eight young adult interns who serve in an Episcopal parish or university chaplaincy.  They are trained as community organizers with the intention of engaging more young adults in the mission of God and the life of the Episcopal Church.  Along with Micah Project interns, relational evangelists meet weekly to reflect and learn together and develop a rule of life that guides their individual and communal spiritual practices.
