Bishop Search Update: Travel alert to MBTA Red Line riders to May 7 Meet-and-Greet in Dorchester

The Transition Committee shares this travel alert for those planning to use public transportation to attend the May 7 evening Meet-and-Greet gathering with bishop nominees at All Saints' Parish, Ashmont (209 Ashmont Street) in Dorchester:

Because of track repairs on parts of the Red Line this week, free shuttle buses are replacing regular subway service between Park Street and JFK/UMass stations and, starting at 8:30 p.m., between JFK/UMass and Ashmont stations. An extra allowance of time and patience may be required in order to get to the church on time (and then home again). Please share this information with other T riders who may be affected.

Details and alerts are available on the MBTA website here. This summary from WBUR also may be helpful.
