The rector at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church for the past two decades, the Rev. Brian McGurk led his last worship service at the downtown Chatham church on Aug. 27. Although he “quietly” announced plans to retire about a year ago, the transition will take a bit of getting used to, he said.
“It’s been a wonderful 20 years,” McGurk said.
