John Bell John Bell, a songwriter and song collector, minister in the Church of Scotland, fellow of the Royal School of Church Music and member of the Iona Community will lead a workshop for choir directors, clergy and other music leaders on the importance of congregational singing and the place of song and music in the church.

This event will take place at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church on the grounds of Boston College.

Pianist and organist Ed Broms continues his monthly series of performances playing the complete works of jazz legend John Coltrane at 7:30 pm on Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, (138 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, ). This performance will feature Coltrane’s work from 1959. Tickets are $10 at the door.
