The Church of St. John the Evangelist in Boston is celebrating its 125th anniversary with several events on Sunday, April 27:

• 10:30 a.m. - Solemn High Eucharist
• 6-7 p.m. - Reception
• 8 p.m. - Choral evensong and dedication of the Angelus Bell in memory of Everett Titcomb, St. John's organist from 1910 to 1960

Courtesy Partners in Health Dr. Paul Farmer Dr. Paul Farmer will speak at 9 a.m. at All Saints Parish (1773 Beacon Street) in Brookline as a prelude to receiving All Saints' 11th annual Spirituality and Justice Award during the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist. Dr. Farmer will also be the preacher during the service, which will be followed by a reception.

Courtesy All Saints' Church, West Newbury On Rogation Sunday, it is tradition to celebrate the earth and its abundance with blessings and a procession.

Farmers, gardners and all who love the earth are invited to join the parishioners of All Saints' Church in West Newbury for a special procession and blessings. All are encouraged to bring seeds, tools, work gloves and tractors to be blessed.

The Church of the Holy Name, Swampscott is celebrating the restoration of their 1922 Skinner organ on Sunday, April 27 with a dedication at the 10 a.m. service and a concert at 4 p.m. by Dr. Douglas Major. A reception will follow the concert.

A donation of $10.00 is requested at the concert.

MagnificatBoston is a group of singers "from parishes in the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and beyond" who are dedicated to the performance of Anglican choral Evensong. In monastic tradition, Evensong are the prayers said before retiring for the night.

The 25-member group performs once each month at a parish or chapel in the diocese, singing both English period and new American liturgical music.
