The Church of the Advent is sponsoring the next installment of its popular beer-and-discussion series, Ockham's Kegger.
Tyrus Clutter, director of Christians in the Visual Arts, will lead a four-week series on "The Philosophy of Modern Art" at The Hampshire House (above Cheers Bar) in Boston, Tuesdays at 7 p.m., April 22, 29, May 6 and 13.
The Evening Interlude free concert series is a great way to put your mind and soul at ease at the end of a long day. Concerts are Wednesdays from 5:30-6:15 p.m.

The choir of Trinity Church in Newton Centre and friends, under the direction Barbara Roth-Donaldson, will perform works by Schubert, Purcell, Brahms, Dvorak, Le Jeune and others on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m.
