Pianist and organist Ed Broms continues his monthly series of performances playing the complete works of jazz legend John Coltrane at 7:30 pm on Friday, February 15, 2008 at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, (138 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, 617-482-5800 x1103). This performance will feature Coltrane’s work from late 1958. Tickets are $10 at the door.

This concert continues the critically acclaimed music series that showcases Coltrane’s work in a more spiritual setting and emphasizing the legend’s music as meditation. The series is now at the halfway point in presenting the extensive catalog of Coltrane’s legacy and the group has plans to complete the series in January of 2009.

Ed Broms will be joined in this performance by Timo Shanko on saxophone.
