All are welcome to take part in the monthly Radical Welcome Circle, beginning Wednesday, Dec. 5, 6:30-8 p.m., at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (138 Tremont Street) in Boston. Gatherings continue in 2008 on Jan. 23, Feb. 27, March 26, April 23 and May 14. Facilitated by the Rev. Stephanie Spellers, Cox Fellow and Minister for Radical Welcome, and cathedral leader Ken Farmer, the monthly gathering is an opportunity to share ideas, concerns, dreams and concrete strategies around radical welcome: opening hearts to welcome change, reckoning with fear and embracing the gifts and presence of marginalized cultures and groups in and around congregations.
