Changes in our lives can leave us uncertain, hurt, or surprised. Beverly Ryle, director of the Center for Career and Business Development (www.successonyourownterms.com) will present the 2-1/2 hour program, Way of Transition: Seeing Change as a Spiritual Process, for those experiencing work-related and personal changes in their lives: unemployment, retirement or the possibility of retiring, moving to a new community, divorce, an empty nest or major illness. This also includes welcome changes such as parenthood or a new job or promotion.
Ryle, a career counselor and business consultant with 20 years of experience, is an Episcopalian who bases the compassionate and professional approach of her workshop on spiritual underpinnings, will guide participants toward appreciating the value of consciously being in transition and teach practical tools for moving through transitions with a greater degree of confidence and comfort.
Participants will take away from the Way of Transition program:
This workshop is open to the community and there will be a charge of $20 to attend (but no one will be turned away). Reservations are recommended; send a check payable to St. Peter’s Church, Weston and note “transition workshop” on the memo line. The workshop snow date is February 9.
