Centennial kickoff service and quilt unveiling for St. Bart's, Cambridge

St. Bartholomew's Church in Cambridge is beginning its yearlong centennial celebration, Ministry and Service to the Cambridge Community and Beyond 1908-2008, and is inviting the public to join in. The celebration kicks off with a service and quilt unveiling. The quilt, made by church members, represents the first 100 years of the church. After the service, attendees can view a historical exhibit of the church's first 25 years.

Upcoming 100th anniversary celebration events:

  • Mar. 29, 4 p.m.: An evening of inspirational gospel music by the Boston Community Choir, and Liturgical Dancers
  • Mar. 30, 10:30 a.m.: Founders Day service
  • Apr. 27, 4 p.m.: Spring Social
  • May 10: Silent Auction
  • Oct. 10, 6 p.m.: Anniversary banquet
  • Oct. 12, 10:30 a.m.: Anniversary service
