Love Is a Journey: Walking the Labyrinth from Darkness into Light is a Lenten Quiet Day offered by St. Andrew's Church in Ayer, St. David's Church in Pepperell and Trinity Chapel in Shirley. Participants will have an opportunity to pray in word, song and silence as they walk a canvas replica of the famous labyrinth of Chartres Cathedral in France.

The morning session will begin at 9:30 a.m. and feature an opening prayer, an introduction to the labyrinth and a guided walk. The afternoon session, beginning at 12:45 p.m., will be less structured, with another opportunity to walk the labyrinth. If participants can't come for the whole day, they should feel free to come for one session or the other. Those staying the whole day are encouraged to bring a bag lunch; beverages and cookies will be provided.

Nicolette Wellington, an active member of the United Church of Christ in Boxborough, will be the guid for the day. Wellington recently completed the labyrinth facilitator apprenticeship offered by the Labyrinth Guild of New England.
