Concert to benefit the Millennium Development Goals

Students in The Rivers School Conservatory Program The Church of the Holy Spirit in Wayland presents a concert to benefit the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals on Sunday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. The concert will feature solo pieces, chamber music, and selections for jazz ensemble performed by students from the Rivers School Conservatory Program.

Admission is a $10 suggested donation for adults; children are admitted free. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals, which aim to improve the lives of the world's poorest by 2015.

About the Rivers School Conservatory Program

The Conservatory Program at The Rivers School is a four-year program which offers classes in music theory, aural skills, composition and performance to help students become complete musicians and scholars.
