St. Peter's Church, 838 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, will be having their fourth annual Art on the Pews, a fine arts and crafts juried show and sale, Friday and Saturday, November 9-10, 2007. Over 30 exhibitors will be displaying and selling their work. Media represented will include fine jewelry, watercolor, drawings, prints, oil and acrylic painting, book arts, calligraphy, weaving, photography, fabric arts, collage, multi-media, and stained glass.
There will also be demonstrations of jewelry-making, calligraphy, watercolor, spinning, oil and acrylic painting and drawing. And for kids, there will be the Kids' Art Corner, where children can make their own art and take it home for free.Art on the Pews will also offer musical entertainment including classical, jazz, folk and organ music. There will also be baked goods, handmade items, prints and other items for sale at the St. Elizabeth’s Chapel gift shop, as well as a silent auction of donated items, art works, craft objects and collectibles.
