Saturday, Sept. 18, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. (on-site registration opens at 8 a.m.) at St. Anne’s in-the-Fields Church (147 Concord Road) in Lincoln.
Would you like to learn more about ministering to others in grief or distress? How can Christians who are not therapists or counselors care for others in a distinctively Christian way? Founded in 1975, St. Louis-based Stephen Ministry is a nationally recognized leader in training non-ordained Christians in pastoral care skills. Join with St. Anne's and others from area churches for an introduction to Stephen Ministry and an opportunity to deepen your own caring skills.
Registration is open to all. A significant turnout is expected, as this is one of the few New England workshops Stephen Ministry if offering this fall. Registration online is highly recommended at www.stephenministry.org/workshop. Cost is $15 per person or $50 per congregation (four or more).
