Many of us heard President Obama's important policy speech on the Middle East on Thursday and are heartened by the seriousness with which he is promoting peace in that deeply troubled part of the world that has shown so much potential in recent months.
The risen Christ has given each of us as Christian men and women the gift of peace; my hope is that all of us might fervently pray and work for the peace that our president and our country want to bring about and the people of that region so want for themselves.
