Ways to help with hurricane relief

Episcopal Relief & Development continues its response to a record-breaking Atlantic hurricane season.  Find latest updates here.

For congregations wishing to help, ER&D has a general hurricane relief bulletin insert available here. Contributions to ER&D's hurricane relief fund can be made online here.

Those interested in volunteering as the recovery gets underway can sign up with ER&D's Ready to Serve database. A diocesan disaster coordinator from an affected region may then be in touch.

The Episcopal Church's Office of Government Relations issued on Oct. 6 this status report on response to Hurricane Maria's devastation of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Compassionate God… Draw near to us in this time of sorrow and anguish, comfort those who mourn, strengthen those who are weary, encourage those in despair, and lead us all to fullness of life; through the same Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen
