Herald News: Fall River project combines spirituality with improving food options

A common purpose can lead to good things.  That’s the thinking behind the new intentional living community of Mt. Hope at Kennedy Park for people passionate about food justice and advocacy.

“They will collaborate with one another,” said Larissa Alter, South Coast Mission Hub assistant director. “We’re looking for people already involved and doing good work, or who want to work in the community.”

Located on South Almond Street in a former rectory owned by Church of the Holy Spirit, four to five people will come together to live and share their common goals and spirituality, while working to foster relationships and ideas about food justice in the community.
