South Coast Today: Dartmouth church will open as sanctuary of peace and solace on election day

In an effort to help subdue the anxiety and stress of the 2016 Presidential Election, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 351 Elm St., Dartmouth, will open its’ doors to the entire community as a non-denominational, non-partisan, place of peace and solace on election day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.

From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., anyone can stop by to sit and be silent in a quiet, peaceful place and/or to offer prayers for the nation. Those who do not regularly attend church are also welcome to attend.
