The Oasis Community Youth Group of St. Stephen’s Church in Lynn has been working on what they call Project 135. Project 135 is an outdoor art installations intended to spread awareness and support of House Bill 135, which aims to reduce youth homelessness and its effects.
Upon its completion, the project, visible to passersby on South Common Street, will consist of an unfinished frame of a house painted white with black dashes. This hollow frame represents that homeless teens are often transient and couch surfing from place to place, without a place to truly call home.
