As part of its commitment to voter registration and getting out the vote, the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (138 Tremont Street) in Boston will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage. In partnership with the League of Women Voters of Boston, the cathedral will hold a brief, physically distanced and festive gathering to mark the occasion on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. on the cathedral plaza. The gathering will include music, brief addresses, prayers in thanksgiving for women’s voices and role in our civic life and for the ongoing work of protecting and broadening the right to vote for all. The cathedral plans to livestream the event on Facebook and Instagram.
