Responding to climate emergency declarations by Falmouth and 11 other Cape towns, the Outreach Ministry of St. Barnabas's Church in Falmouth will host a four-part public meeting series on Zoom starting Jan. 13 to help define the emergency and build consensus for community action.
Organized by the Outreach Ministry and members of the Faith Communities Environmental Network, the series will consist of four meetings, each with a presentation and short videos from the Pachamama Alliance, followed by large and small group discussions.
Held on consecutive Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30 p.m., the Zoom series includes the topics “Where are we now?” on Jan. 13, “How did we get here?” on Jan. 20, “What is possible now?” on Jan. 27 and “Where do we go from here?” on Feb. 3. Meetings are free and open to the public. To register for one or more of the meetings, email StBOutreach@gmail.com .
