New Englanders of faith are invited to this overnight workshop to develop skills and practices in advocating in the public sphere for our most vulnerable neighbors.

Led by the Rev. Alexia Salvatierra, author of Faith-Rooted Organizing: Mobilizing the Church in Service to the World and a professor at Auburn Seminary in New York City, this workshop is sponsored by the Episcopal Church's Office of Social Justice, the Maine Episcopal Network for Justice and the Episcopal Diocese of New Hampshire.

Topics to be covered include:  theological framework for faith-rooted organizing and social justice advocacy; strategies to engage fellow Christians and community leaders; and next steps for action on specific public policy issues in New England.

Participation is limited to 40 people.  Register online here.  The first 25 to register will receive a free copy of Faith-Rooted Organizing: Mobilizing the Church in Service to the World.  Registration fee of $75 includes the program, materials, three meals and refreshments and double-occupancy lodging.  (For those commuting or arranging their own accommodations, the registration fee is $50).
