2018 Global Mission Summit

Working from an understanding of global mission as a journey into God’s ongoing mission, through formational pilgrimage and relationship building with communities from contexts different than our own—whether by virtue of culture, geography, background or experience—with the purpose of accompaniment, understanding, reconciliation and justice, the 2018 Global Mission Summit will be an opportunity to explore the role that God plays in our relationship-building efforts as we live into our role as Christians, loving our neighbors as ourselves. During the course of the day, participants will explore God's expectations of partnerships in a number of different contexts and share experiences of best, and sometimes worst, partnership practices.

Designed for anyone with an interest in mission, the 2018 Global Mission Summit is sure to have something that will get everyone thinking. Workshop tracks include mission formation, discernment, models of mission, relationship building, mutuality and social justice—all from the dual perspective of the theological and the practical. Whether new to mission engagement or experienced, participants will hear from thought-provoking speakers, take part in interactive workshops, have plenty of time for networking and participate in a joyous international celebration of the Eucharist.
