St. Michael's Church in Marblehead (www.stmichaels1714.org) will present an organ concert featuring Raymond Hawkins on Sunday, May 19 at 5 p.m. All are welcome.
Raymond Hawkins is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, where he was a Kenan Organ Scholar. He is currently the director of music at St. Michael’s. He has given solo recitals across the country in venues such as the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Assumption in San Francisco and Adolphus Busch Hall at Harvard University. His recital at St. Michael's will feature pieces inspired by dance from composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Edward German and Naji Hakim.
