St. Michael's Church in Marblehead invites all to join for its 2024-2025 organ recital series, marking the 50th anniversary of the installation of the church's Fisk organ.

For this special occasion, St. Michael's is welcoming a select group of talented artists to celebrate the many ways in which the organ contributes to the life of the church's community.

Sunday, May 18, 5 p.m.

“The Singer’s Guide” — James Bobb, organ
For the churchgoer, singing hymns might be a familiar activity, but for those who wish to partake in communal singing outside of a liturgical context, or for those who just can’t get enough on Sunday mornings, this event is for you! James Bobb, professor of organ at St. Olaf College, will lead a hymn festival focusing on texts that invoke God’s love, but will also include a local favorite, Marblehead’s official town anthem, “Marblehead Forever.”

Suggested donation is $20 per person at the door.  Visit www.stmichaels1714.org/concert-series for the full schedule and more details.
