The Church Home Society (“CHS”) is an independent, non-profit corporation related to the Episcopal Church.  Its purpose is to provide support to, and address the needs of, young people in contemporary society by making financial grants to both religious and secular non-profit organizations in eastern Massachusetts. The programs need to work with and/or for young persons

The Church Home Society, Inc. seeks a part-time Administrative Director who is a self-starter, self-motivated, and comfortable around office technology.    This person is the only staff person for CHS. This is a hybrid position, working remotely at home and in our Boston-based office, and the work load will average about 40 hours per month. In summary, this individual should possess:

  • Demonstrated administrative skills and experience along with some bookkeeping skills and experience.
  • Proficiency in Windows 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge and some experience with an on-line grant application system, such as Foundant.
  • Provide support in other ways as the Board may determine to be useful.
  • Possess honesty and personal integrity.
  • Possess a commitment to the Church and the mission of CHS.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree.
