Join Bishop Gates at Boston Pride, June 8

Rainbow heart

Join Bishop Alan M. Gates and The Crossing congregation of the Cathedral Church of St. Paul for Boston's annual Pride Parade, from Copley Square to Boston City Hall Plaza, on Saturday, June 8.

The Episcopal Church contingent will gather at the steps of Trinity Church in Copley Square Plaza at 11 a.m. and proceed together to the 12:30 p.m. line-up location at 711 Boylston Street (near Exeter Street).

A banner for the group will be available for everyone to sign and decorate; congregations are encouraged to make posters and/or wear church T-shirts, hats, etc., rather than carry individual banners.

Those who would like to help with float decorating should be at 711 Boylston Street at 11:30 a.m.

An ecumenical group of host congregations has posted plans for the day on Facebook, here , where additional updates will be posted.

Contact the Rev. Tamra Tucker at ttucker@diomass.org with questions or to be added to the Episcopal Church contingent of marchers.
