The Office of the Bishop has issued the following notice:
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are saddened to inform you of the death of the Rev. James S. Whitaker in Lincoln, Massachusetts, on April 22, 2018. Jim was the first rector at St. Paul’s Church in Bedford, Massachusetts, 1960-1981. Jim was then chaplain at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Bedford, starting in 1981 until he retired in 1996.
Visiting hours will be held Friday, April 27, 5:00-8:00 p.m., at Badger Funeral Home in Littleton, Massachusetts. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Church in Bedford, Massachusetts.
May the soul of God’s faithful servant departed rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.
