Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are saddened to inform you of the death of the Rev. Robert C. Day in Sarasota, Florida, on Jan. 23, 2018. Bob was the longtime headmaster of the Advent School in Boston (1965-1995) and served as the assistant at the Church of the Advent in Boston (1965-1977). He was also actively involved in various communities on Martha’s Vineyard, where he and his wife summered for many years and lived following his retirement.
A service was held for him in Sarasota, and a memorial will be held this summer (date to be determined) on Martha’s Vineyard at Grace Church, Woodlawn Avenue, Vineyard Haven, with a reception to follow.
May the soul of God’s faithful servant departed rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon him.
