Seven Episcopal communities from the Merrimack Valley joined together to celebrate the Easter Vigil on Saturday, April 18.  The parishes are part of the Lower Merrimack Valley Collaborative and include St. Andrew’s Methuen, St. Paul’s North Andover, St. James Groveland, Trinity Haverhill, St. James Amesbury, All Saints West Newbury and St. Paul’s Newburyport.

“One of the neat things about the Collaborative is, it is not about closing churches or merging congregations,” said the Rev. Jane Bearden, rector of Trinity Episcopal Church in Haverhill. “It is about being more together, enjoying the richness and variety of the gifts around us and recognizing that our geographic boundaries do not define with whom we can interact."
