The Boston Chinese Ministry of the Episcopal Church to run Chinese language school

You watched the Olympics - are you now curious about learning the Chinese language? The Episcopal Boston Chinese Ministry, consisting of congregations at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul and in Quincy and Allston, have opened a Chinese language school in response to increasing demand and to educate the wider public about Chinese history, culture and traditions.

The Boston Chinese Language School  is in a newly renovated space at 28 Temple Place formerly occupied by the Cathedral Bookstore, and is offering both conversational and comprehensive (includes reading and writing) classes in Mandarin and conversation classes in Cantonese. Students may also choose between group classes and private lessons.

"This is not just a way of supporting a gathering space for us," said the Rev. Canon Thomas Pang, canon for Asiamerican ministries at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul. "It's a way of spreading Christ's love by promoting our understanding of each other in the world."
