Spring gatherings, sponsored by the chaplains to retired clergy, spouses and surviving spouses, will be held from 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30 at St. Peter’s Church (320 Boston Post Road) in Weston and Thursday, June 1 at St. David’s Church (205 Old Main Street) in South Yarmouth.
The theme for the programs will be “Ever-present Racism: Whose Problem is It?” and will be led by Bishop Gayle E. Harris as moderator and the Rev. Karen Coleman, the Rev. Edgar Gutierrez-Duarte, the Rev. Karen Montagno and the Rev. Leslie Sterling as panelists. Each program’s schedule will include fellowship, presentation and discussion, Noonday Prayer and a complimentary buffet luncheon.
All retired clergy, their spouses and surviving spouses are most welcome.
