Martha's Vineyard Times: Taking a look at black history through the eyes of Grace Church

Grace Church in Vineyard Haven--with its stained-glass windows honoring first African-American diocesan bishop John M. Burgess and first African-American priest Absalom Jones, and its chapel mural by revered African-American artist Allan Crite--has recently been added to the African-American History Trail of Martha's Vineyard and is hosting a series of conversations on Wednesday evenings throughout March.  "We're going to find a book to read throughout Lent and have those brave conversations that white people need to have," the Rev. Susan Eibner said.
